General

» Respect all the staff members. They are the ones who created the site, or help run the site when the owner is not online. What they say goes, for the most part. If you are having a problem with a staff member, please report it to the owner of the site, Shiloh.

» Respect each other. If you are having problems with another member, please report them to a staff member, and please explain the situation. We will look in to it as soon as we can.

» Try not to fight ooc. If it is necessary, or if you want to quarrel with someone, please take it to PMs. Excessive fighting on the boards will cause in a suspension, and ultimately, a permanent ban.


» Please avoid using excessive caps. They will not put emphasis on your words, and only hurts the eyes if used too much.

» Even though we allow cursing here in Kingdom Rosayn, please don't go overboard with it.

» If you create an account, we encourage you to actually start posting. If you have not posted within a week of account creation, it will be deleted. If you find it hard to keep up with a forum, think of ways to increase your chances of coming back - plots, talking with others, etc.

» Do not pester others to reply to a thread, and do not excessively ask others to make graphics for you. You will be given a warning.

» Do not force anyone to give you personal information. Anyone seen doing this, or if anyone is reported, you will be given a two week suspension.

» Do not spam the C-box. Posting more than 4 times in a row, with only a word of two, will be considered spam, and you will be given a warning.

» Avoid godmoding and powerplaying - this means, you are NOT allowed to play someone else's character, and you may not kill them off without their permission.

Posting

» Kingdom Rosayn is a literate to advanced roleplay site. As we do not expect you to post over a thousand words per post, we do require a minimum of one hundred and fifty words per post. Others need something to work off.

» Please, there is a spell check for a reason. Do not be afraid to use it. The occasional typo is alright, but if every other word is not correct in spelling, your post will be sent to you in a PM, with a note attached, and it will be deleted off the thread until revised.

» Your character's speech must be in a form of quotations.

» Please no double posts. There is a modify button for a reason.

» Please no spamming the threads. That means whichever thread you go in to, whether it be OOC or IC, please don't post just to make yourself known.

» Certain parts of mature threads are allowed - Just make sure to put Private or Mature in the thread title so others will know. If you want it to be pass-word protected for you and the other person, please PM a staff member.

Characters

» Rosayn is an Anthro roleplay, but that doesn't mean get crazy on us. Try to keep the colors as close to the natural colorings of your animal as possible, though a few oddities are fine.

» There are four free character slots. After that, other slots must be purchased.

» No marysues, or garysues. No character is perfect. EVERY character has to have at least two flaws.

» Please do not sass the staff if your character was denied. We will be putting a reason as to why your character was denied. Please revise it then let a staff member know.

» The allowed species list will let you know which species can be used here on Rosayn (Which are available for anthroism). There will also be a limit beside certain species, as we don't want them to overrun the Kingdom.

» Please follow the given form to fill out for your character, or if you must change it, please keep to the original as close as possible. It's there for a reason, and we don't want to strain ourselves to try to find what you are writing.

» Your character must be accepted before you can roleplay. If you go on to roleplay before your character is accepted, you will have a two week suspension.

» Love at first site is forbidden.

» We don't allow 'powers', only 'elements'. There will be a list of elements provided for you to choose from!

» Liquid time is allowed - meaning your character can be in more than one thread, as long as you can keep up!

» Every character has to be made an anthro. There will be contests for pure animal/pure human characters later on.

» No anthro can fully turn human.

» Please, if you want your character to have a baby, you DON'T have to go through the process of getting pregnant + birth. Pregnant females need to wait two full seasons (on the boards) before giving birth, or you may use your coins to speed up the process.

» Your character may adopt a child from an orphanage if they are over twenty-one years of age.

» When creating a character, please use realistic images - you may use celebrities, or non-celebrities. If you choose to use a celebrity, please post who the celeb is.

» Please use stock images - That means use FLICKR and Deviantart sites to find an image - Flickr has an option under "Advanced' that says "Creative-commons" - That's available for use. dA has resources & stock. If you are having trouble finding an image, please ask a staff.
